Listening sync

Connecting a device lets your PodGuard account store and share your episode feed addresses, episode identifiers and titles, show titles, recording identity, playback positions, completion state, queue, playback speed, and supported filter defaults with other devices you explicitly connect. A supported iPhone version can upload listening history that was previously stored only on that phone after you confirm the connection.

Sync does not upload audio, downloads, recent searches, or local listening statistics. It never prepares an episode, consumes your allowance, or grants access to audio. Off and Custom profanity settings are not shared. A device may limit playback speed to its supported range. Shared filter defaults require an explicit apply action for future preparation. Playback already loaded on a device is not remotely moved.

You can disconnect a device at any time. Deleting shared listening data removes saved positions, the queue, and preferences and disconnects all devices. Local audio and followed shows remain. Followed shows are stored separately when you use supported account follow features. Connection versions and dates remain with your account to document your choices; account deletion removes these records.
